Many Kirtland students need help getting themselves ready for school and getting all the materials they need. This “Stuff the Bus” project will help Kirtland students and teachers to start a great year. “Stuff the Bus” will be held on Tuesday, August 4, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm and August 5, 2015 from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Just pull up in front of the Kirtland Elementary School on Chillicothe Road, bring your school supply donations, and “STUFF THE BUS”! Click here for more details.

New Immunization Requirements to Enter Grade 7
Ohio Department of Health has made new immunization requirements for school attendance starting in the fall. New booster requirement: 1 dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) or Td (tetanus and diphtheria) vaccine must be administered prior to entering 7th grade. Tdap is preferred because it provides vital protection against pertussis, also known as whooping cough. If your student has had a tetanus shot in the last 5 yrs that will meet the requirement. Please provide proof of vaccine.
