Calamity/Snow Day Make-Up June 4th, 2014
It looks like spring is here and it is a relief to all of us. This year we have had a total of 6 Snow Days, days when students were slated to be in school but could not because of inclement weather. Ohio Law allows school districts no more than 5 calamity days a year. Therefore, we will have to make-up one school day, which will be June 4th, 2014. The last day for students this year was to be June 3rd. The last day for students will now be June 4th, 2014.

New Immunization Requirements to Enter Grade 7
Ohio Department of Health has made new immunization requirements for school attendance starting in the fall. New booster requirement: 1 dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) or Td (tetanus and diphtheria) vaccine must be administered prior to entering 7th grade. Tdap is preferred because it provides vital protection against pertussis, also known as whooping cough. If your student has had a tetanus shot in the last 5 yrs that will meet the requirement. Please provide proof of vaccine.
