Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is a way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. Many of our students have signed pledge forms stating "I pledge to grow up safe, healthy, & drug free". These pledge forms are on display at the KMS entrance in the form of a giant red ribbon. Students and staff are also encouraged to wear red on Thursday in support of Red Ribbon Week.

New Immunization Requirements to Enter Grade 7
Ohio Department of Health has made new immunization requirements for school attendance starting in the fall. New booster requirement: 1 dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) or Td (tetanus and diphtheria) vaccine must be administered prior to entering 7th grade. Tdap is preferred because it provides vital protection against pertussis, also known as whooping cough. If your student has had a tetanus shot in the last 5 yrs that will meet the requirement. Please provide proof of vaccine.
